A New Chapter of Excellence: College of Nursing Sciences, St. Mary’s Joint Hospital, Amaigbo Celebrates 54th Matriculation Ceremony

The College of Nursing Sciences, St. Mary’s Joint Hospital, Amaigbo, under the Catholic Diocese of Orlu, will hold its 54th Matriculation Ceremony on Friday, 28th August 2026, to formally welcome the 2025 Basic Midwifery Students into the College community.

The ceremony will commence with a Holy Mass at 10:00 a.m. at the College Auditorium, Amaigbo, Nwangele L.G.A., Imo State.

A major highlight of the occasion will be the Grand Opening of the Bishop A. T. Ukwuoma’s Auditorium Complex, marking another important milestone in the growth and development of the College.

The event will be hosted by Sr. Maria Celine Agonsi (IHM), Provost, and Rev. Fr. Kingsley Ugbala, Chaplain, with Most Rev. Dr. A. T. Ukwuoma, Catholic Bishop of Orlu, as Visitor. Sr. Dr. Maria Theresiana Uchegbu (IHM) serves as Chairman of the Planning Committee.

Special guests include Hon. Chief Paul Duru, Executive Chairman of Nwangele L.G.A., and Prof. Victor Nwagbara, CONSA Alumni President.
